Information Regarding Interpreting Services 

  • Effective October 17, 2025, a fee will be charged for using the clinic’s interpreting services. 
  • If you have difficulty communicating in Japanese, you will need to schedule your visit on a day when an English-speaking doctor is available (which is free of charge) or use the clinic’s interpreter service (for a fee). 

English-Speaking Doctor Availability (Free of Interpretation Fee): 

  • Gynecology / Gynecological Checkups: Tuesdays (about twice a month until December,currently No days from January)
  • Dermatology: Fridays (about twice a month) 
  • Breast Cancer Screening: Availability varies weekly Please check our reservation system for specific dates. 
  • Breast Surgery: Monday 

Medical Interpreting Service Fees(in person/ online ): 

  • Up to 15 minutes: ¥3,300 per visit 
  • Over 15 minutes: ¥3,300 for every 15 minutes 
  • Cancellation Fee: ¥0 

Note: The fee is based on the actual interpretation time, not waiting time. Free Alternatives: 

You can avoid interpretation fees by: 

  • Bringing your own qualified interpreter. 
  • Being accompanied by a female friend or family member who can interpret accurately. 
  • Visiting the Esthetic Clinic, where services are free of charge. 

Using Clinic-Provided Interpreters: 

  • If the clinic believes it’s necessary for your safety and clear communication, a clinic-provided interpreter will be assigned, and the standard fee will apply, even if you have your own interpreter. 
  • Appointments are generally accepted only through the methods mentioned above. If you use translation apps, please be aware that inaccuracies can occur. If the clinic finds this insufficient for safe communication, we may suggest another option for a different day, or interpretation charges may apply. 

Important Disclaimer: 

  • If you choose an alternative interpretation option, the clinic is not responsible for any medical accidents, errors, damages, or losses that may result from interpretation inaccuracies. You will be responsible for resolving such incidents at your own expense.

 

*For patients without a Japanese public health insurance card, medical fees will be calculated at a rate of 20 JPY (tax included) per point, based on the Japanese medical fee schedule.”
